Lantern Park Nursing & Rehab Center

Since its beginning in 1994, New Song has maintained a special relationship with Lantern Park Nursing & Rehab Center. In 2001, New Song moved to 912 20th Avenue in Coralville and became Lantern Park's neighbor across the street.

New Songers conduct Morning Prayer at Lantern Park on the third Thursday of the month. Once every three months, Holy Eucharist is celebrated there. And once a month, New Song volunteers supervise the Lantern Park Bingo operation. (Please consult the New Song calendar for details.)

At Christmas time, New Song's children assemble gift bags and deliver them to Lantern Park residents after New Songers have shared Christmas carols with them.

As a good neighbor, Lantern Park permits parking in its main parking lot on Sunday mornings and on New Song Nights to provide the needed off-street parking for New Song attenders.
